Call of Duty Mobile has had limited controller support on iOS and Android since November of 2019. Currently, only two controllers are officially supported, and they only work in-game. Navigating menus and loadout screens still has to be done with touch controls.
Sensitivity for each game type (Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Zombie) can be customized individually in settings, but button mappings cannot be adjusted for now. Developers have also committed to further optimizing Call of Duty Mobile controller support in the future.
If you're looking for fully customizable controls, you'll have to play the game on an emulator like Bluestacks or the official Call of Duty Mobile emulator. Both of these are also supported but will match you with other emulator players.
What controllers work with Call of Duty Mobile?
The only officially supported Call of Duty Mobile controllers are PlayStation and Xbox controllers. That includes controllers for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S and Series X. Note that your iPhone or iPad needs to be running iOS 13 or higher in order for the controllers to connect.
Will using a controller in Call of Duty Mobile get you banned?
No! Controller support in CoD Mobile is fully allowed by the developer. Using one will not get you banned.
However, you will be matched with other players using a controller. This may slightly increase matchmaking time and generally results in more competitive opponents.
